What I'm doing right now is estimating fuel burn for various weights and route profiles - it's part of a project I'm doing to identify the energy needs going forward for future fuel system airliners (biofuels, hydrogen, battery, hybrid, and a few even more exotic technologies). So if you were able to scan basic pages for predicting full mission range and fuel burns against payloads, I'd be in your debt. I can do that for the "733" in that CAA manual, and somebody else has kindly just emailed me a more authoritative 737-800 manual, but the widebody L1011 would be a really nice comparison.
If you haven't a more regular email address for me tucked away somewhere boffin at engineer dot com will reach me, and many thanks.
