Post NON EU ICAO to JAR licence

Hi friends,
I am holding a Non EU Icao licence(cpl ir/me).Do you know the best and cheapest way to convert it to jar fcl(with a frz atpl if possible).I know that this is a common subject but my "case" is a bit different,no?

Your case is the same as anyone else with a non-JAR but ICAO licence eg USA, Australian, New Zealand, South African etc etc etc...

... & therefore U are exempt from the approved CPL training course (fly as required to pass the skill test) & ME theory, but unfortunately not from the IR one (55h).

Actually, the procedure is laid down on the JAA's website www.jaa.nl and is quite simple. Depending on your experience level, you have to determine where you fit into the system, and then take it from there. Look for it under JAR-FCL and it'll all be clear. Be careful though, since the procedure for FAA licences is quite different!
