Timing is everything

Well actually time is everything, particularly when paying for professional training. So, with this in mind who out there thinks they have the best and most cost effective route to achieving ATPL.

One of the routes suggested to me (assuming PPL, hours done, APLT ground school passed) was to do Multi, then IR then CPL. This route was suggested because apparently if you completed the MULTI I/R you are allowed a "discount" in the number of hours required on the CPL course.

Does anyone know the full numbers of hours required for each of the different routes. Recommendations on schools for the above would be good as well (and cost)

Bristol Flying Centre comes highly recommended. Suggest you email the Course Co-ordinator - [email protected] - and discuss the hours/situation with him.
