Type rating instructor cost

Hi,

Please can you tell me what proportion of the cost of a type rating is for the cost of the sim? (i.e. not for the instructor)

Thanks

In the USA type rating instructors will make anything from $150-$600/hr depending on type and experience level.
Simulators depending on certification level and avionics ( old gauges or top of the line glass) upwards of $1000/hr.

Seems over the top when TRs are quote at USD14K in the USA?

Typical costs in this part of the world are (dependent upon type) but assume later standard Level D qualified A320/B737

FFS per hour USD 400
SFI/TRI per hour USD 150 - 250
TRE per hour USD 250 - 350

Business jets and rotary in another world
