Question Distance learning type rating theory

Hi, If you are accepted by Ryanair to start the type rating course, is there any chance they can let you do the theory part of the type rating course from home?

I currently have a job which i don't want to leave until the very last moment i actually have to for economical reasons.

I did my ATPL theory from home while working and it worked very well, so I'm hoping there is an option for that here as well.

Is the ATO approved to allow this to happen?

I have no idea, thats why I'm asking. I don't even know if there is distance learning for type rating theory at all.

Well, to my knowledge some of the theory is to be studied in advance before the actual TR course is started. In general this is done by CBTs (DVDs) provided by the respective course provider. I don't believe that the complete ground school for a TR can be done via distance learning. I'd suggest to get in touch with the respective TR provider and see what they say.
