If you are non-typed and low hours then the answer is nobody apart from Ryanair IF you come out of OATS or the Netherlands.

They advertise on this site - if you keep refreshing the page you should find it. Unless they've stopped, of course, but I last saw the ad yesterday!

bigscott,
Don't be too down beat. I disagree with the above. Still airlines recruiting but nobody in a big way. If you keep CV bashing a window will open. The industry is on the up now its just too many people are being downbeat. GOOD LUCK.

tar very much

thanks for the tips guys....

hopefully things might change in a few months time...on other threads- someone said that BA will be lacking in pilots very soon- due to retirements etc...

fingers crossed that wannabe's like myself will be given the opportunity...

will be doing an extra 'lucky dip' on saturday!

Blue Bay

I have abstained from all the debates on recruiting/state of the industry over the last few months but cannot agree with you on the state of airline recruitment. I recently out of intrigue more than anything dusted of the CV machine and commenced stamping with absolutely no joy at all, infact the majority of airlines just did not reply. I was also told by BE personnel department that they have been so inundated that they are not going to respond to CV's, as much as they would like to. I'm sure that everyone in the industry would love to be upbeat about the state of recruitment, but there is nothing happening. A very good freind of mine is working in a restaurant in Manchester with over 2500 hours quite alot of which is heavy turbine, he has had similar letters of rejection/no response.
