Full time ATPL course in the UK
With the exception of OAA, CATS, ProPilot and BCFT, what are the remaining alternatives in the market for a full time ATPL course in the UK?
I really don't feel that confident to embark in a distance learning ATPL even though I know that most of the times instructors and the likes of PPRuNe are available for assistance -- they would be consulted anyway

Yes, valid reasons to go for Distance Learning, but as I said in the first post I don't really feel that confident to get into it in distance learning due to many reasons and not to mention distractions or other things that may sway my mind from it.

I can recommend Propilot. I went distance learning and the course material was very good & easy to digest. The brush up sessions were excellent, no practice test bashing, just good quality teaching. I have no reason to doubt that their full time course would be any different.
I would agree that distance learning is very achievable depending upon your personal circumstances. I have a very demanding engineering job, 10hrs a day is the norm, I also have a wife and two young children. I managed an average of 92% in a little over a year. Yes I had to sacrifice a lot and my wife was very supportive and didn't ask too much of me during that time. But if you want to achieve the results you will find a way. I just don't see how anyone can justify loss of earnings unnecessarily, it just takes determination and effort, which you will need a lot of to find that first flying job.

Full time ATPL course in the UK
A slight tangent but if you want a guide to the propilot books you can buy one of them on iBooks for £30 to see what you think of it. If you go for the course they told me they deduct the cost of books you've already bought from the course price.
I've bought and been reading principles of flight and have to say it is well written, the diagrams are good and there are embedded videos. Also you can bookmark/highlight/make notes etc. Personally I didn't like the CATS setup/interface for the PPL so it put me off going with them for ATPL. I mention this as I've seen negative comments for propilot and very positive for CATS on here, it's quite a personal thing as to which may work best for your style of learning.
If you are fixed on ft courses then a trip to each of the schools you short list I guess is the best way of feeling which will work for you.

Air Service Training (Perth)
Air Service Training offer full-time ATPL courses.
Based at Perth Airport in Scotland, they are in a good position as the classrooms are next to their engineering hangar. On-site accommodation is also available.
The majority of student who have progressed through their course have quickly gained employment; the history of AST is quite impressive.
