Full time ATPL course in the UK
A slight tangent but if you want a guide to the propilot books you can buy one of them on iBooks for £30 to see what you think of it. If you go for the course they told me they deduct the cost of books you've already bought from the course price.
I've bought and been reading principles of flight and have to say it is well written, the diagrams are good and there are embedded videos. Also you can bookmark/highlight/make notes etc. Personally I didn't like the CATS setup/interface for the PPL so it put me off going with them for ATPL. I mention this as I've seen negative comments for propilot and very positive for CATS on here, it's quite a personal thing as to which may work best for your style of learning.
If you are fixed on ft courses then a trip to each of the schools you short list I guess is the best way of feeling which will work for you.
