Unemployment !
Hello Chaps
Just starting to organise my training for ATPL. I was wondering what with the much talked about "pilot Shortage", how many people pass the exams etc. get issued with a licence and never actually get a job, leaving them with a massive debt to fund and a serious dent to their pride/ambitions.
I understand it may take time for that first job offer but I'd rather know there is a chance of employment and that the investment would not be in vain.
After all I've got to convince the bank manager that there is a chance of him getting his money back!

Take a look at the "Where in the world" thread on this forum - same subject but has replies... wierd!
I do think there is a place for all of us, personally dumping water onto forest fires seems like a great job - and I know the place that trains you for it...
