Question Cabair & Class1

I'm looking to commence proffessional training and have looked at Cabair.

It looks proffessional? If a bit expensive. Is there any other options? Has anyone gone through the school and have any advise?

I am just about to go through my class1 and have been advised that there may be a slight issue with my eye test. I'm 21 x 20 "Corrected vision", Uncorrected Right +2.75 sph/+1.25cyl and left +2.75. I've been told this is slightly outwith the requirements, any one know or know what the right of appeal is?

Alright Damo,

Check out the CAA website for medical requirements - www.srg.caa.co.uk. Rather than forking out the £400 for a medical straight away, they do let you submit an external report from an optician whereby they will let you know whether or not you will pass the eye test. I think they charge about £70 for this.....

Regarding Cabair, use the pprune search function, and search back through previous Wannabes topics. You might also want to try searching for the word 'scabair'
