JAA A330 Type Rating

If I already have the JAA A320 type rating which I received from working at an airline, where I can get a JAA A330 type rating on my own (in Europe or U.S.)? How much would it cost? And does JAA still require 3 actual takeoffs and landings?

320/330 tr

I think you are incorrect, certainly if you hold a JAA EU Ops licence then you can hold more than one typw I have 4 Airbus Types and providing you have valid LPC then you can fly all types. I regularily fly 3 types in one year for 3 different operators.Unsure if you refer to the USA though.

Sorry but you are factually incorrect.

It is possible to hold a A32x rating and an A330 rating concurrently as confirmed by Inspector C. The airline I work for operates mixed-fleet flying with A32x and A330 as a standard procedure

330 CCQ

laurence. I am trying to do the same as you. To put the A330 on a JAA licence requires base training (4 take offs and landings) after the CCQ unless you were joining an airline that had ZFTT approval for its TRTO then you would not need the base training.
The problem for the base training is finding an aircraft to do it in!!
You can do the CCQ in the states if it is JAA approved but not the base training.
Finally you could obtain an FAA ATP and put the A330 on that as the FAA do not require base training.
