Ok, by looking into the FAR's I understand what aircraft you have to have a type rating for in order to act as PIC. Any instructor having a type rating appropriate CFI certificate and 5 hours in type can instruct and recommend for a practical test for a type rating. If you look at the AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT AND AIRCRAFT TYPE RATING Practical Test Standards you can figure it out how you can get a type rating in an airplane and what kind of training is required. But I just can't figure out where are the requirements for recurrent training are hidden?
