Question Scenario - Full time job, w/e instructor. How many hours/yr

Hey guys,

What to you reckon is the maximum number of hours a weekend instructor could clock "Realistically" in a year in this country. Thinking in terms of keeping a full time week day job. Lucky to get 200 I estimate. Could be many years building up 1500 ???

Thanks

DD

Hi,

I instruct Saturdays and Sundays, bank holidays and the odd Thursday evening. This is for PPL, IMC, Night and Multi. Over the last three years or so this has given me consistently around 320 hours per year. This is at a smallish club with not many instructors. Hope this helps.

Regards, GT.
