MEIR renewed with Second TR?
Hello,
I already hold a JAA Multi Pilot Rating but it is no longer current.
Do I need to renew my ME/IR to undertake a second Multi Pilot Rating?

In thoery no under JAR rules.
But there has been some debate over this in other forums. The UK CAA seem to be now requiring some form of IR valid before starting a second type rating.
I haven't a clue what the spanish CAA require
