Becoming an Airship Pilot?
SO what are the chances someone on here happens to be an airship pilot, or happens to be working for a company operating LTA machines? how would someone with ~1300hrs fixed wing (instructing, bush, survey etc) go about changing career paths to lighter than air? Do the handful of companies that still fly airships higher/train solely from ground personnel? Any input would be VERY much appreciated....

The airship industry is mainly hiring cadets at this point. Currently the airship hiring boom is over (thanks to that darn Hindenberg accident a few years ago); therefore there are a lot of P2F airship schemes being run by unscrupulous people. I hear EagleJet is currently offering 500 hour line training program on airships.
