Airline cadet program

Hi everyone,
It is always a dream for me to become a airline pilot. I come from Taiwan
currently studying in year 12 in Australia.
I am thinking about University or Airline cadet program.
Just want to find out that what would the difference between these pathsway
which one has a better chance to get in to an airline.
Also does anyone know about cadetship for China air and Eva air ?Because these two airlines are the major airline in my country
Thanks
