flight hours in log book

I do not understand about flight hours that airlines require to fill in their forms for pilot application pls clarify

the difference between "turbine hours" and "jet hours" ??
If I have turbo fan engined aircraft hours do I fill in the same amount in both of these type.

I suspect you will find that 'turbine' probably refers to turboprop in most cases.

I think you are right. There s a line above asking about turbo prop experience (as I cut and pasted below) but there s no place to fill the experience except turbine hours
