JAA IR QUESTION needing help

Hi
I have an FAA IR and I am planing to do my JAA professional training with EFT or EASA.
Can I do my IR conversion in the US? and How long is the time between staying current in the CPL/ME and the day I'lll do the IFR conversion.?

Cheers:

JAA IRs have to be performed in JAA airspace so no, that's one part of the training that cannot be carried out in the US.

Cheers

Also note that once you get the JAA IR you can renew it in the states with a JAA examiner.
