Becoming a commercial airline pilot?

Hey guys, im new to this forum so sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

I would like to learn more about the routes to become a Commercial Airline Pilot. I've read things but i don't fully understand them so i just need someone to give me a basic outline of each stage and rough estimates of costs and times.

I know you need PPL first of all, but how long will it take and costs etc?

Just a simple list with a few sentences for each part would be perfectly fine and much appreciated.

Btw, i'm 17 and doing my A2's soon, are they important or any specific subjects which i must take?

Thanks in advance
