Miami Area Accomidation

Hi All, My friend and I are heading over to Miami in Febuary to do some hour building with Flymiami in Kendall Tamiami Executive Airport. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to stay preforably within walking distance of the airport with keeping the cost down as the main objective. Would appreciate any advice.
