New Zealand & JAR CPL theory comparison

Hi, I am from the UK but currently living in NZ. I am in the process of completing my PPL and CPL exams over here and at some point, I intend to head back to the UK and complete the same exams over there.
Does anyone have any experiences about how the difficulty of the exams compare between countries?

I did the same 2 years ago. I found the CPL theory in New Zealand far much easier. You only have 6 subjects compare to 14 with JAA, even if VFR and IFR coms are pretty easy. Subjects like A/C technical knowledge and General Navigation are more developed as well.
But entirely doable. I made it and English is my second language.
Good luck
