Advice Please!!! - Commercial jet pilot

Hello, i am currently training for my PPL. in the end i would love to become a corporate jet pilot. i was wondering what lisences i would need and the best way to get them. i am very seriously looking at training in america, but am getting confused about the JAA and the JAR. would they except the JAA in the UK. if i applyed for a job? any advice would be great. I suggest you read through the sticky threads at the top of this forum.
Also go on the gapan website

It is a good starting point and will avoid potential mauling if you don't do that first before posting here.

That's good advice from HappyFran. Best bet is to read up on the 'stickies' and then come back with more specific questions when you've finished. I'm sure you'll have plenty of them!

All UK training is under JAA these days - your PPL and CPL will be UK issued JAA licences.
