See below...
I am confused, should I do my PPL first and then clear my DGCA papers? Or should I complete my CPL from the US or Canada first, then come back and clear my conversion papers?
Someone has told me you only get 2 chances for your conversion before your hours expire, is this correct? Which is better, the US or Canada?
Ignore the sarcasm kay200361, but try reading over your posts to make them as clear and legible as possible.

Ok! here's my two cents of opinion.

First consider where you plan to do PPL, in India it may consume more time, in US or canada think you have to spend around 1.5 lakh for travel after PPL and continue your CPL.

Say, if you are dependent on bank loan, it may be good idea to do PPL first clear dgca exams. While you appear for exams you only have a debt of 5+lakh after PPL and not 20+lakh after CPL as it may have added pressure on you.

If you are unable to clear your conversion exams in six months your license gets lapsed to renew and appear for another attempt you have to log additional 15hrs PIC, 5hrs night and 5hrs intrument time.

If your fear is only exams and if you are a loan dependent guy/gal do PPL clear DGCA exams then continue to CPL Beware! you may waste valuable time!

If you belive you can clear in one attempt do directly enroll for CPL.

Good luck!
