JAA to FAA licence

Does anyone know or has experience on this?

I have an JAR ATPL licence with A320 and SEP still valid. I am now looking for the FAA licence CPL and IR MEP. My idea was to do the theory in Europe then go somewhere in the US for the flying part.

Any idea about the requirement and price? I don't want to spend to much time and money on this.
If you know a good school to work with, any advice appreciate.

Thank you for your help.
