Becoming a pilot?

Hi everyone,

I've been working with Emirates Airlines for the past couple years as a flight attendant and am now seriously considering moving up to the front of the plane. I'm now faced with the dilemma of figuring out how and where.

Where do I start?

What country is the best place to do your training? I'm Canadian and am not particular about where I will be working in the future. I don't particularly want to live in North America, however. Is there a big difference in qualifications you receive from different countries? Or a big difference in cost?

Thank you for any assistance possible!

A number of ways you can find out on PPRuNe:

1. Search function on the yellow toolbar towards the top of your screen

2. Sticky at the top of the forum thread list

or 3 just click here
