I did my airbus type with them over the summer. Time from LST to base checks was about two weeks, training was excellent, all the trainers are current working line pilots on their day off! (Air Berlin, easy). Did i get a job.................Yes, and it was with Wizzair. Cockpit4U didnt get me the interview but they gave me the skills to convince wizz with.
You get what it says on the tin with cockpit4U, nothing more or less, thats pretty good compared to some of the experiences I've had. I still get e mails from Dennis Pilz (The school owner and line cpt. for wizz) even after he's stopped making any money out of me, thats never happened to me anywhere else i've been.
If you have any other specific questions you want answered privately feel free to PM.
Best of luck, Mondeoman

I dont want to argue about the training with C4U, but doing an Airbus Typerating is very VERY risky at the moment. I regreted it badly the last months... If you get a job then most probably not on the bus.

I say again!
If you dont have a contract with an employer DONT go for an airbus rating!! And if you go for a Boeing rating there might be some other TRTOs arround which might be cheaper and even help (and nothing more! there are no guarantees) you get a job, something C4U has stoped since the last months...

linetraining
Hi Henriksch
I too heard about C4U being able to arrange for some linetraining. Don't know what happened to it. Heard a rumour, ONLY a rumour, that it ended up with nothing and no linetraining.
I am not really surprised. AFAIK nothing happened with the next round of interviews for Wizzair. Those who wasted their money going to Berlin in July were told there would be another round in september, I believe.
The owner told me he was going to India to try to negotiate an arrangement with an indian carrier. This was to be in october 2007. No news there either.
So I guess everything is just about the same in Berlin....

Well the market is not that bad... But there are two things you need:
1.) lots of money
2.) a lot of patience
I know that the times waiting for a job are brutal; but cheer up guys, one day you will be on the right seat!!
