TAT rule of thumb

hi guy,
are there anyone that know a rule of thumb to calculate the Total air temperature?

On the CRP -5 (Pooleys) there is a blue scale which gives you the Ram rise, dependant on your TAS. You can add this figure to your SAT to give you a rough indication.
