OAT 'Skills Protection'

I noticed an interesting concept when looking into OAT's courses recently (well, specifically the Netjets scheme), that of their 'Skills Protection Plan'.

This aparrently means that should you fail to pass your CPL skills test (as a result of a lack of aptitude, not 'lack of personal application), then you owe them a lot less money than you would normally.

I just wondered if anyone had any experience of this? Nowhere on the website does it mention anything to do with this being an additonal insurance cost but from what I've heard I wouldn't put it past them.

Thanks,
