Cool South End Flying Club

Hi,

Does anyone have any advice, info or otherwise about Southend Flying Club, their training or the airport in general? I'm strongly considering doing my Flight Instructor training with them.

thanks in advance.

cheers steve...

Ancient history, so little use to you, but I did my PPL there in 1993.

There were a number of peeps I met during my time there who went through the AFI course and all were highly satisfied with the quality of the training that they received.

The head honcho, Danny Wolff, sadly died a few years ago, but if they are still runing as tight a ship, then I would have thought well worth a look.

I was also very pleased with the quality of the training and when I moved on to other clubs, the FIs always commented on the good habits I learned at SFC.
