FAA JAA QUESTION?

If I have a JAA PPL(A), and I want to do hour buliding in San Fransico do I need an FAA PPL(A)?, how do I get an FAA PPL when I have a JAA PPL?

Sean H,

You can get an FAA licence issued on the back of your JAA PPL (check the pages of PPRuNe). It's many years since I went down this route, and things have changed slightly but that's all you will need (and a valid medical) to hour build, no visa required.
