Difference Between FAA/JAA CPL Checkride?

I am aware of the checkride criteria and requirements which the FAA has for their CPL checkrides (i.e. commercial maneuvers such as chandelles, lazy eights, eights on, and so forth..) Along with power off 180 accuracy landing and some sort of diversion procedure.

Is the JAA criteria and PTS about the same?

Can anyone share their experiences?

As a starting point that may help, you can check tthe UK CAA guidlines on the JAA CPL(A) skills test accessed through the standards documents listings of their wesite. It gives you a brief on the conduct of the skills test itself on the day and the standards expected for test. It'spretty useful to get an idea of the critera. You can at least then compare like for like with the FAA criteria if you have that info already.

Thank you kindly,

The JAA CPL examination seems really straight forward.

Has anyone taken the JAA and FAA CPL (SE or ME) exam that could share their experiences?
