Scenic shots
Inspired by the VMC on top thread is anyone interested in showing their scenic shots? After all, the views are a large reason we fly.
Here are a few I took last summer on a flight around Yorkshire, they are 'point and hope' so excuse the quality. Marks if you can identify the locale. http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...purnPointS.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...hire/HullS.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...hire/BridS.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...roughHeadS.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...amboroughS.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...amboroughS.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...rborough2S.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...versMountS.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...azoneParkS.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...byHarbourS.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...okingeastS.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...tleHowardS.jpg |

And the 'Above Cloud' one, too. All your pics are stunning. Between us, I'm sure we'd have enough to compile a coffee table book of pPrune adventures :E |

Hi Shortstripper,
Your photos, are they... 1) Chichester Harbour (overhead Fishborne ish) 2) Chichester Marina 3) Bosham, Thorney Island, Portsmouth 4) Pagham Harbour Cheers, |
I wouldn't have liked to be toddling along that road in Arizona when the meteor came down....
|
Flybymike,
I agree. You would not believe how small the meteor was that made such a big hole. I was the silly b***** who drove for miles to see it when a 20 minute detour a couple of days earlier could have got an aerial photo. What's more the Eagles song "Take it easy" glamourises the town. Of Winslow in a way it does not deserve. D.O. |
