Bendix/King GPS database

I recently heard of a pilot (foreign reg) crossing the south coast of the UK who had a problem and was considering a precautionary landing. His Bendix/King GPS suggested "Lewes International" airport and offered a frequency which turned out to be a private strip.

Anyone who has a Bendix/King GPS able to confirm or deny the existence of an entry for "Lewes International" in the database?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike. I know of a farmer just to the south of Lewes who has his own grass strip and has a Cub based there. I think he is restricted to something like 25 take offs and landings a year due to local enthusiasm.
Maybe its his idea of a joke registering it as Lewes International.......
