Flying inThailand……..

I am looking to build around 40 hrs over in Thailand, I was wondering if anybody could answer any of my questions:


Has anybody flown out there?

Can anybody recommend any good schools? I am only aware of chang mai flying club……. It would be ideal to fly around the southern area of Thailand if possible.

What is the flying like out there? I,e weather, terrain, maintenance………

What is involved in the conversion course to get the thai license? I have a JAA PPL already.

Any help would be appreciated

I was looking to know if anyone has had any first hand experience of the Thai flyin Club......Always best to be cautious,eh?

Looks like a nice setup.......but you can never really tell,can you?
