Night Rating

Hi,
Just wondering, if you finish you're PPL. early, say after 40 hours, can you use the other 5 hours to do the night rating course?

Yes.

Just include the night qualification form along with all the other paperwork and an extra fee (£64 I think) when you apply for the PPL.

You'll have to search the licence quite hard to find what your extra money has bought though. It just has the words "The privileges of this licence may be exercised at night" tucked away on it.

I really wanted to do this but its going to be too late cause the summer is coming and manston closes at 8pm and its light still buy the time i get to that stage. Ill do it next winter I think
