I miss my hard copy of Flyer, that I paid my annual subscription for many a year. I'm not interested in the Electronic version. I told Ian that. All I was interested in was the forum, which has now been taken away from me. Its 12/month or an annual up front fee of £62 I believe. The forum only should have been free, or a nominal subscription, which I would have been happy with.

Welcome AJ1961 (a very good year!)
As the "product" of the PPRuNe forums is largely the contributions of the members, there is little cost to PPRuNe to "publish". This forum, particularly Private Flying, is what we members make of it! Your contributions will be welcomed here...

There is this one.
UK Glider pilots can use gliderpilot.net
There was a German gliding forum (in German) but that closed down I recall
Apart from that you are limited to the the reddit gliding forum (r/gliding) and the reddit flying forum (r/flying) but these are heavily used/focused on USA flying matters and in the case of the latter almost 100% on business GA flying.
Apart from that the only other one I know is euroga.org
There maybe some facebook "forums" but I'm banned from facebook for reasons unknown - the algorithm would not even allow me to sign up: - frankly no loss to me!
that's hardly 'lots'!

Welcome x567,
Just to refresh the PPRuNe rules, commonly, we're not eager about promoting other websites in posts here. Sometimes we lighten up a little, but please do let's bear this in mind. As this thread does cross lines by its very nature, a lighter touch is okay, but generally, please avoid promoting other sites in posts here. Of course we understand that our members visit other aviation forums too, no problem at all, and members are welcome to continue to grow the PPRuNe forums as well.
