Glenforsa = EG13?

Glenforsa = EG13?
The much praised grass field at Glenforsa (Mull) is mentioned at https://ourairports.com/airports/GB-ULL/ with a "local code" of EG13.
The aerodrome website does not mention this code, or I should have overlooked it.
Whence comes this EG13? Is it perhaps an internal code of some navigation software or equipment?
Likewise, Kirkbride is shown with a "local code" of EG37, equally mysterious.

ForeFlight.
slightly digressing, the developers of aviation mapping products create their own waypoint identifiers for waypoints without any official identifier.
Unfortunately, in the UK, NATS haven’t given any identifiers for VFR waypoints leading to the various developers, Garmin, ForeFlight, etc creating their own ( and usually different ) identifiers for VFR waypoints.

I think the EG and two number codes are historic.The reference to 'local' is because they aren't international agreed?
I've never seen them used in modern times.

I occasionally use autorouter.com. Some airfields which don't have an ICAO code are identified in the autorouter database with an EG+number code, e.g. Top Farm which is SW of Cambridge is allocated EG99. There are some strips e.g. Abbots Bromley (W of Tatenhill) which, in autorouter at least, don't have a code at all which means that any flight plan filed from or to there does recognise it as an airfield. I understand that autorouter admins can add strips on request.
In the autorouter database, Glenforsa is EG45. Perhaps the EG13 code has been assigned by some other planning tool.
