Ace Handling

I have recently posted my praise for a member of the CAA staff. I now find myself in a similar position with regard to a handling organisation.

Have just returned from Liverpool where I visited a terminally ill relative and was hoping to get him flying in the Cessna 310 (he used to do a lot of flying).

In the event it was not going to be physically possible to get him into the 310.

Ravenair / Liverpool Air Services were kind enough to offer half an hour in their Partenavia to allow him to be flown and with some manipulation of seats we were able to get him into the front seat and allow him to fly much of the journey over the city centre.

The assistance we received was well beyond expectations.

If you are thinking of a journey to a 'big' airport give Liverpool a try and call LAS to provide handling. They operate the GA apron and are building an excellent facility.

This isn't an advert, I have no connection with the organisation. When someone puts themself out this much they deserve word of mouth and word of mouse to promote their activities.

Wayne, Colin, and all involved thanks.
