Garmin Flightbook
I have just upgraded to a new PC running Win10 (yes, I know everyone else did this years ago, I'm just a bit behimd the times)
However I now find I cannot load Garmin FlightBook, that I use as a PC logbook. I get an error mrssage (an administrator has blocked this) buit even when I try to run the installation file in adminsitrator mode irt still won't work.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix?

The installation file at Garmin's website is a self-extracting archive. Extract it to a folder of your choice using e.g. Winrar, open that folder and run the MAIN.msi file. It will ask for your permission - allow it to run. Wait a minute or two. Flightbook should appear in your start menu. If you start it and the text looks a bit blurry, go to C: \Garmin\Flightbook\, right-click Flightbook.exe, select Properties from the menu. In the window that opens, go to the Compatibility tab and click Change high DPI settings. Then put a tick in the Override high DPI scaling behaviour checkbox and try different options (Applcation, System, System (enhanced))from the menu immediately below it - pick the one you like.
