How many hours in are you? In my experience, this phenomenon is only apparent when you are acting as passenger and completely disappears when you are in control. I am sure that is true for motion that you are in charge of - eg stalls and spins. It may be a little less true of things that happen to you such as sudden turbulence, but even then when you have control you know what is happening
