Heads up fly-in attendees Montrose Heritage this weekend

Just a polite FYI for those flying to the excellent event at Montose this weekend, the approach from the West runs right over the top of my strip located between the 2 hills at the end of the Strathmore valley just East of Forfar and is not on the charts. I've all ready had a few visitors this morning from the south that are at about 1500 to 2500 descending over the southern hill for landing at my place with low level West to East show traffic overhead at about the same altitude. Perhaps keeping it a little higher till you get passed Rescobie Loch on your way to Montrose and keep a good lookout also would be helpful we use 135.475 safetycom in the circuit.

Enjoy the show, safe flying.

It's class G airspace and your strip is not marked on any maps. And they say people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

Roll your eyes till your hearts content there, regardless of airspace designation or being on maps or not, up here in these parts we try and help each other keep safe. It creates comradrie and respect amongst fellow pilots and hopefully takes a few holes out the Swiss cheese. I'm pleased to say both fields were busy today but more importantly incident free with pilots and spectators alike, especially the kids, enjoying Heather-Hayes display in his Pitts.

It's all good.

What a wet reply to a piece of polite information.
What's the glass houses ****e all about?
Dunno where you are from but as the man says we try to help each other up here.
The graveyards are full of people who had the right of way.

You must be the pilot who is based near my home airfield and thinks it is perfectly reasonable to fly through the ILS approach with traffic present not talking to anyone "Cos it's Class G".
