Revalidation of medical with CAA

The UK CAA is my competent authority, but I live in Switzerland. My medical (obtained at an AME in Switzerland) expires soon, so I want to revalidate it.

I'm wondering what's the procedure for the revalidation with the CAA.

Do I have to do this with a UK AME, or can I go to any AME here in Switzerland? Or just the AME where I got the previous medical?

Just a guess. But if you got a Swiss AME for your medical, originally, and have since flown with UK CAA licencing, then renewal with same AME is the answer?

Any EASA AME can issue you with a fresh UK EASA Medical Certificate.

They need to endorse the medical certificate as being a UK one and send the paperwork relating to your medical to the UK CAA Aeromedical Section so it goes on their system.

Your AME should know the process.
