Help with Selling Our Aircraft
We are looking to sell our aircraft.
I'm looking for the collective wisdom, and experiences of Pprune for a bit of guidance as to the what / who to avoid, and what / who to potentially speak to for a successful sale. Any info / advice would be gratefully received.
I've deliberately not mentioned type or price, as I'm sure it breaks the forum rules, but, for info, it's a non complex 4 seat SEP.

I've sold two aircraft shares on afors. They key is to put all the pertinent information in there. Don't leave anything out in the assumption that if a buyer is serious they will ask the price/hours/fuel consumption/whatever. Make sure you include lots of photos and a video is even better.
When showing to prospective purchasers, it's a good idea to have their appointments overlap, that way they get to appreciate that it's not just them that's chasing the aeroplane and they'll then be more motivated to make an offer.

I would put it on every free web site i can, there is AFORS but also UKGA and of course flyer has its own esales. The hard bit will be knowing how much to ask, so have a good look through other ads of similar aircraft if you can, remember that engine hours and equipment will make a big difference, I would allow about £8-10 per hour for engine hours difference, if you do not have 8.33 spacing on the radio and mode S transponder then most buyers will want to allow for upgrading these.
