NATS "Scottish Information" Twitter feed
A few of you recognise me on this forum as one of the voices of "Scottish Information"......as always I am happy to help with advice and information as required. A couple of my younger colleagues have come up with the idea of creating an official NATS "Twitter" account to keep our GA customers informed of any interesting news happening within the Scottish FIR. Along with this our first blog post gives information of the work of the FISO's at the Scottish ATC Centre at Prestwick.
So if a "Twitter" person please come along and say hello and join the party. The links below will hopefully guide you to the feed.

The Twitter account is @NATSScotInfo

Never been on Twitter, I always thought it was for the likes of the Kardashians and the Spice Girls, now that FBW and his mates have signed up I will have to give it a whirl and see how I get on.
I feel a bit similar. I applaud the wish to be communicative, yet would have preferred a medium less popular. I do not know Twitter but it seems obvious to me it must be full of publicity AND dangers of IT security - attackers will always first target popular places.
Why not set up a little website with the same info as a static html page? Perhaps an RSS feed?

Full of publicity?
Well, only if you follow such accounts. Just the same as your RSS feed, or email inbox. Be thoughtful and be picky who you follow/subscribe/give your email address to.
IT security?
Now you've lost me.
