PAR200 vs PAR200A

Be sure to use the correct installation manual. If you have a PAR200, you must use that manual. The way the 200 and 200A is configured for Com 1 and Com 2 is different. The 200A uses a strap in the back connector while the 200 uses DIP switches that requires the removal of the top cover.

PS Engineering :home and go to bottom of home page and click on Product Support. There you will find the PAR200 install manual.

Hope this helps.

Thanks mark, that was exactly the issue, I had downloaded the newer version manual of the net and was using that for the install

I was a bit miffed finding out that aircraftspruce sold me an old model.

All working now, love the product.

NARCO 810/811, pin-out for radio update 8,33khz

I'm just in the subject process, I believe you should not save money on A/c radios (vital piece of equipment) so I went for Trig TY96.
Biggest problem was to find the NARCO 810/11 pin-out, impossible to obtain.
So I share it with anybody that will need it.

Rogerio

One radio transceiver missing from the original list is the ICOM IC-220T.

I replaced an earlier version so I was already familiar with its features. Two aspects worth noting are the excellent clarity of the display in strong sunlight and the quality of the built-in intercom.

It is TSO'd too and quite a competitive price. I got mine from Bournemouth Avionics.
