Propeller

Hello,

After some research on the web, I have not found my answer. I ask you this question: What is the profile and the manufacturer of the propeller?

Regards

Mickael.

PS: Sorry for my bad english.

If you know the registration you may be able to look it up on the registering authority's website. In the UK G-INFO not only gives details of ownership but also mechanical ones. This is from the information regarding an aircraft which I have flown:
Engines (Propellers):1: 1 x LYCOMING O-235-L2C ( SENSENICH 72CKS6-0-54

A D9? Are you sure? With a spring undercarriage like that instead of the telescopic legs?

Do you know what country it's in?

Scimitar shaped propellers haev been around for a long time - early 1900's. The shape gives certain advantages (sound profile, greater chord thickness, a higher maximum power/disc load ratio and they can take a higher tip speed) and some disadvantages (reduced maximum efficiency and a sharper efficiency curve).

See Scimitar Propeller, Symitar Scymitar simitar prop, AmericanParagliding.com - Powered Paragliding for paragliding use.

Thanks mika. I've seen that one but it's not a D9. It's a Fournier RF3 fuselage and tail with a Jodel D-18 wing.
