Propeller
Hello,
After some research on the web, I have not found my answer:confused:. I ask you this question: What is the profile and the manufacturer of the propeller? http://i36.servimg.com/u/f36/17/76/54/60/img_3810.jpg Regards Mickael. PS: Sorry for my bad english. |
If you know the registration you may be able to look it up on the registering authority's website. In the UK G-INFO not only gives details of ownership but also mechanical ones. This is from the information regarding an aircraft which I have flown:
Engines (Propellers):1: 1 x LYCOMING O-235-L2C ( SENSENICH 72CKS6-0-54 |
Unfortunately I haven't information about this aircraft.:{.I know that this aircraft is :a Jodel D9
|
A D9? Are you sure? With a spring undercarriage like that instead of the telescopic legs?
Do you know what country it's in? |
I was as surprised as you when I saw.I'did not think to copy the registry.
The country is France. |
Scimitar shaped propellers haev been around for a long time - early 1900's. The shape gives certain advantages (sound profile, greater chord thickness, a higher maximum power/disc load ratio and they can take a higher tip speed) and some disadvantages (reduced maximum efficiency and a sharper efficiency curve).
See Scimitar Propeller, Symitar Scymitar simitar prop, AmericanParagliding.com - Powered Paragliding for paragliding use. See this older thread http://www.pprune.org/tech-log/39965...-aircraft.html |
ok Thanks.
For Delta V There is an D9 at single wheel : http://www.jodel-fr.com/images/avions/RFD9.jpg |
Thanks mika. I've seen that one but it's not a D9. It's a Fournier RF3 fuselage and tail with a Jodel D-18 wing.
|
Ok I say a D9 because on the Jodel website called an D9.Thanks guys.
