Who has insured their airplane for Sudan?

I'd like to talk to you as a matter of urgency if you have insured a G-Reg airplane to fly through Sudan. We appear to have landed the worlds most incompetent "Account Executive" at Haywards, and would like some specific examples to quote to her to demonstrate that it is not "impossible to insure anything for Sudan due to UN sanctions"

The stupid thing is I am aware of a number of light aircraft who have been covered by Haywards for Sudan in the last few months, so I fear that either the lady we're dealing with is an idiot, or she thinks we are.

Have you tried talking to Sam Rutherford about this (www.prepare2go.com)? He regularly flies into Africa and might be able to give you some pointers.

He's an infrequent visitor to this forum - I guess only when he's not out there flying.
