A week of guaranteed flying skills, fun, companionship, airmanship, fresh air, exercise and great breakfasts!
I chose to pay for my week - money well spent!

Now that is excellent value for a young pilot of promise. No better grounding for a flying career than learning to fly sans engine. And you learn to understand weather, air law, navigation, and the etiquette involved in buying your instructor a beer at the end of the day.....

However, for all you dreamers and those who are a bit long in the tooth to qualify as a "young" pilot, it is still worth while checking out the British Gliding Association website, find your local club, visit, and sign up for a day course, soon find out if its for you. You will be pleased at the low cost, but be prepared to help out, and spend at least half a day, so be sure your better half is happy about it. Even better, bring him along too!
