Question Conington Flying Club?

Has anyone ever flown/been taught at Conington?. .. .Thinking of doing my PPL there and was wondering what everyone's experience of the clubhouse/instructors/aircraft was?. .. .Thanks!

Didn't do my PPL there but have flown there a bit. Everyone always seems friendly and enthusiastic, aircraft are all in good order and the club house facilities are excellent. Bit of an odd set up tho as it seems to be run on a not for profit basis so some of the prices seem low.

Have you had a look at Sibson as well? More choice of runways. My only experience of either of the peterborough fields is of landing once at each in order to refuel. Sibson seemed to me to be more jolly than Conington, but one visit isn't much of a sample. Enjoy your course wherever you do it.
